FAQ

When is it better to book a tour?

The earlier the better as the best guides are booked first place. Some of our top guides are booked 5-6 months in advance if the tour is to happen during high-tourist season (May – September).

An early booking will allow us secure admissions to the most popular museums (Kremlin/Armoury Museum, Hermitage, Peterhof, Catherine Palace) as they allow a limited number of visitors a day.

Can you arrange a tour on short notice?

In many cases, yes. It is easier to do so outside of the high tourist season (i.e. between April and October).

When and where will my tour start?

The meeting point for most of the tours is your central hotel in Moscow or St. Petersburg or railway station. The end location is your hotel or a city center or railway station. Upon request we can arrange for a guide to meet / drop you off at an airport.

To keep the costs down, our one-attraction tours (Kremlin TourKremlin and Armoury Museum Tour and Stalin Bunker Tour) start and finish at a museum entrance. An optional hotel pick-up / drop-off service is available for such tours.

Is prepayment required?

Yes, all our tours require a full prepayment.
