Katrin, St. Petersburg tour guide

Dear Guests! I am happy to welcome you to the most unique and atmospheric city of Russia – Saint Petersburg. My name is Catherine and I’ve been living here with my family my whole life, so I vividly remember the collapse of Soviet Union, years of ‘perestroika’ and the moment when Leningrad was renamed back to Saint Petersburg. I am fascinated by the city’s history, especially the Romanov Dynasty reign period with it’s great cultural heritage and I enjoy sharing my knowledge with tourists from all over the world.

I graduated the Saint Petersburg State University with degrees in art history and  linguistics, and I’ve been doing my job as a guide for more than six years now. In my spare time I enjoy attending live music concerts with some nice dining afterwards, so I can always recommend a good restaurant and a nice event to visit.

I love to explore new countries, I’ve been all over Europe and recently returned from a very inspirational USA trip. Also I am a mountain skier, a horseback rider and a happy mother of two as well.
