When visiting Moscow from overseas, it’s important to know there are all in all 9 train stations in the city. Six of them – Leningradsky, Belorussky, Kievsky, Kursky, Rizhsky and Yaroslavsky – serve either domestic or international destinations. Leningradsky Train Station

Opening hours: 24/7

Domestic destinations: north-west Russia: St. Petersburg (including Sapsan train), Petrozavodsk, Murmansk, Pskov, Veliky Novgorod.

International destinations: Estonia: Tallinn, Finland: Helsinki.

Services:

• Ticket Offices (or "Kassa" in Russian)

• Electronic displays showing Train Schedule in Russian and English

• Luggage storage facility

• Waiting Room and Business-class Waiting Room

• Mother & Child Room

• Copy & print services at the Business-class Waiting Room

Location: Komsomolskaya sq. 3, metro "Komsomolskaya" (Ring or Red line, north-east).

• Business class lounge room (VIP waiting room) at Leningradsky station Moscow is now undergoing a complete renovation and is not currently available (as of November 2015). However, once the renovation is completed, this lounge room is recommended to use.

Leningradsky Station Services Fares 2015:

• Luggage Storage: 170 Rubles / per bag / per day. Automated Luggage Locker: 100-200 Rubles/first hour, 40-100 Rubles any next hour, 220-500 Rubles/day

• Porter service: 150-300 Rubles / per suitcase, depending on its size

• Parking area: 100-150 Rubles/hour, depending on the vehicle size

Belorussky Railway Station

Opening hours: 24/7

Domestic destinations: Sheremetyevo Airport Moscow (by Aeroexpress); north-west Russia: Kaliningrad, Smolensk.

International destinations: Belarus: Minsk, Brest, Gomel; Poland: Warsaw.

Belorussky Train Station is large and spreads across several buildings. Below you can find out more about the services it offers.

• Ticket Offices (or "Kassa" in Russian). Ticket Offices for long distance train routes are at the Main Building, Entrance № 1

• A separate Aeroexpress Waiting Area (Entrances № 2 and № 4)

• Business-class Waiting Room for official delegations: 500 Rubles/hour

• Hotel (a basic one): from shared to regular hotel-type rooms, price for 1 day: 900-7500 Rubles/person

International destinations: Eastern Ukraine: Kharkiv.

Location: Komsomolskaya sq. 5, metro "Komsomolskaya" (Ring or Red lines, north-east).

At the Yaroslavsky Train Station there is a special Station Staff Member who plays the piano! You can enjoy his music at the Waiting Room on the second floor on weekdays 10:00 am - 10:30 am, 11:30 am - 12:00 pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays the musician plays not only at these time periods but also at 3:00 pm - 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm.
